BRRRR!

I was out running errands today, and decided to come home via Queen Elizabeth Park.  It was really cold (by Vancouver Standards), but the frost and the ice DO look pretty.  And there was a little yellow rose still trying to bloom.  Aww.  I especially liked the frosty spider webs too.  There were some people tobogganing down the icy hill.  Note to self:  Next time, take a magic carpet…  🙂  And there were also a gang of bird photographers, taking in the little yellow headed birds that were everywhere.

I love the icy pics too – I think later this week our high will be 9 degrees – but I can’t complain, we’ve had such a mild winter so far.

    Happy Monday!

The snow and ice pictures are beautiful but I prefer looking at it instead of living in it 🙂

    Stay warm.
