Monday Highlights

My favorite barista at the coffee shop beside my office wrote me another note this morning.  Thank you Ken!!  At lunchtime, I took a VERY VERY mucky walk to my favorite bird pond, via the vet’s office so I could grab Neva some food.  They have a resident Neva lookalike cat there named CC (short for Cotton Candy, and named by the vet’s daughter).  What a cutie!!  Here are photos from the day….thanks for walking with me! “See” you tomorrow.

    Great photos as always!

I am glad I bought the new lens. Tried to capture a bird in my garden last weekend and it was pretty good. But then yesterday all my photos were failed. They were all blurry. Turned out I had accidently set the camera to manual focus LOL. I wondered during the walk why it was so hard to get the focus right but now I know. Still learning, still learning 🙂

So glad you are feeling better and getting back to your ole self! We had a “CC” white cat as well. Our daughter “rescued” it at Cumberland College in Kentucky, before she found out she couldn’t keep pets in the dorm room. Soooooo, one more animal Mom and Dad “inherited.” CC lived to the ripe old age of 15 plus years. He had a “smudge” of gray on his head, but what a delight to have. Miss him, but he’s with all the others in God’s special place for loved pets, even those that have been abused and have passed without human love. Have a great Tuesday, Roz.

Oh, our CC was a 25 pound ball of fur, but got down to 10 before his passing.
