Gung Hay Fat Choy….

..to those who celebrate the Lunar New Year (bring on the year of the monkey), and happy Family Day to my fellow British Columbians.  Family Day is a statutory holiday that is pretty new, but it’s nice to have a day off to spend with family or friends.  Dennis and I went to Crescent Beach in White Rock, about half an hour from the city.  There were TONS of people out and about because is was such a lovely day.  After watching our deck hummingbirds, we ventured out…here are some shots, please come with us!   (and yes, we fell in love with the gorgeous puppy!)

Family day as a statuatory holiday, that’s nice! The US could take an example from that…
