We had Easter Monday off, and Dennis and I made it “Roz and Dennis” day. We started our day off with our annual Easter Egg hunt. I hide, Dennis hunts…..
…and Neva watches. We are happy to report that Neva seems to be MUCH better today. (she’s looking much brighter eyed, and less of a roughed up alley cat than she has since Wednesday) She’s had some urinary tract issues, as well as had two teeth removed. Last week was a rough one for our Neva, and I don’t think we’ll be fully forgiven until the last of the antibiotics have been syringed into her mouth and she’s back from her post surgical follow up vet visit later this week……
…..this “sticker family” had us going hmmm. (we were stuck in traffic, and had time to contemplate. LOL) Are these polygamists? Two couples and a pin up girl? Hmm. No judgments, as long as everyone is consensual, but usually you see adults with kids and pets….not 4 adults, one with wine. Food for thought, and who knows what the story is here….
…we made an unexpected stop at a farm. It isn’t open yet, but we were able to go in, take photos and see the brand new baby goat, that isn’t quite ready to socialize yet. Seriously….AWWWWW!!!!! We decided that farm animals are good for the soul…….
…”yup, I’m a male”……
….CUTE OVERLOAD ALERT!!…..
…..we made another unplanned stop too. We have been by this beautiful Buddhest Temple many times, and thought, let’s go and check it out. That too was good for the soul. We were made very welcome, and just loved the messages and feeling of peace and kindness. Absolutely loved it….
….we FINALLY made it to where were were originally heading for, the Richmond Nature Park. We’d read that the paths were lovely, the birds were plentiful and that it was well worth the half hour drive (well, what would have been half an hour from home, minus the unplanned stops. 🙂 ). We loved it….
….I see a profile in one of these…..
…and finally, hummingbirds are VERY special to me, so I was in my element watching them. Enjoy the hummingbird gallery below, and happy Tuesday to all.
