I hope you enjoy these photos, taken yesterday in Victoria, and today at my community garden and in (and on the way to) my favorite bird pond. Yesterday morning I took an early morning walk to Mt. Douglas to see if there were herons there. There were not….
Mom and I ran some errands in the afternoon, and took a very scenic drive home. (that is becoming a bit of a tradition for us. Ice cream at the Beacon Drive Inn is a tradition too.) We saw a couple doing Acro Yoga. Amazing strength! And nope, won’t be doing this myself any time soon. LOL!
This is the only deer I saw this weekend….
These pictures were from the ferry ride and the drive home last night….
I made a new little friend at my garden today. This is Findlay. Her Mom asked if she could take photos of us together and I’ll be emailing them to her.
Epic arugula fail…..this is bitter and seedy already, so it’ll be pulled up and discarded on the weekend. I’ll try again with different seeds though, because arugula is so good….
This little white dog was off leash, and realized pretty quickly that geese aren’t to be messed with. The dog was 100% fine (and back on leash asap, the owner was running after him and is just out of the shot), the goose was pissed off, but all worked out just fine for all. AWWW!
These shots are in and around the bird pond…..
A baby crow waiting for Mom to come back with food, and he/she was absolutely wide eyed and fascinated by the world. I don’t even like crows that much…but AWWW!
And finally, two shots of the aquatic life in my aquarium…..
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!
