Happy snowy Sunday! Yet again, Mother Nature is blanketing us with snow here in Vancouver. Sadly, because of road conditions and cold we’ve had to change our dinner plans for tonight. 😦
Yesterday though, I was able to get out and about despite the ice. Before I was out though, I made four batches of what is known as “Christmas Crack” (because it is so addictive) for our friends at a dinner last night. (more on that later)
Here are some pictures from Queen Elizabeth Park, which is pretty despite the snow and ice.
I made a quick stop at the Winter Farmer’s Market. I felt bad for the vendors and musicians because it was cold, but everyone seemed to take things in stride. I also took a few shots along a road where I was shopping…..
Last night, we went to a friend’s Christmas party. It was great to see our friends, who we don’t see as often as we’d like. We had some new additions this year. As you can see, a good time was had by all. (thanks Clint and Tom!!!)
Then this happened……
…which led to this. Oh dear! 🙂
As I said….oh dear! LOL! Our friends are fun!
It was a late night, and this morning, we were, as I mentioned earlier, blanketed with white. I was out on the deck taking photos of Christmas ornaments in the snow (because, well, why not?)….
While I was out there, a little hummingbird came to our feeder, and just didn’t care that I was out there. AWW!
Have a great week everyone! I’ll be sharing a few more snowy pics of our day tomorrow. Come back then….
