Didn’t Expect This!

I had a sudden and unexpected loss today.  While I was walking to work, I was taking a couple of photos, and suddenly, my camera stopped working and gave me a serious error message.  I tried everything I could to revive it, but sadly, it had obviously succumbed to “shutter fatigue”.  It would have cost more to fix it than to replace it.  BOOO!  BUT, I found a newer model of the Canon model that I already own at a big discount because the even NEWER model will be released next month.   And really, this wasn’t too shocking, as the camera is used daily, and has been for a few years.  So, out with the old, in with the new….

In the meantime, I have just a few photos to share today.   First of all….HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!  Neva  wasn’t too receptive to wearing a pink p*ssyhat in celebration.  🙂

Secondly, and nearer and dearer to my heart, today would have been my parent’s 59th wedding anniversary!  I love this photo of them, and am pretty sure I won the parent lottery with these two!  <3!!!

Here is a random heart that I found in the thawing snow yesterday….

And more thawing snow….

I love the colour of this spring bloom….

And this is the LAST photo that I took with my old camera.  I loved the ladybug cape and the skip that I saw on the path ahead of me.

Happy Thursday to all!!

Bummer about the camera but on the other hand: getting a new one is fun too.

And you sure did win the lottery with your parents. The way you always speak about them is full of love.
